Hi John. I have some bad news, but also a silver lining:
First, here’s the bad news: Today is our first End-of-Month fundraising deadline since Donald Trump became President of the United States.
And here’s the silver lining: Today is *also* our first End-of-Month fundraising deadline since our three new Democratic Members of Congress got sworn into office from their red-to-blue districts.
At the national level, the 2024 Presidential Election did not go how we hoped. Now the entire country is fighting through the reality of a second Donald Trump Presidency.
But at the statewide level in California, we were able to achieve major wins, including flipping three U.S. House seats from red to blue. These winners are now our California Strong leaders who are fighting for us in Washington.
We have a proven game plan for flipping seats — even in election years where we are facing political headwinds.
But this gameplan only works if we can hire organizers, open regional offices, print literature, and mobilize up and down our state. That costs money, and right now, our budget is a lot tighter than we would like.
Before our End-of-Month deadline at 11:59pm tonight, would you make a contribution to our 2025 Budget so we can take back control of the U.S. House and put a rock-solid check on President Trump? [[link removed]]
