President Trump’s reckless and illegal government shutdown may be on pause, but make no mistake: The chaos, confusion, and harm to working families are far from over.

A federal judge swiftly blocked Trump’s unconstitutional memo to defund government operations, forcing him to withdraw it. But his dangerous executive orders remain in place—threatening government agencies, contracts, and essential services that Americans count on.

This is not leadership. It’s sabotage.

Trump is following the Project 2025 blueprint to dismantle our government piece by piece. If we don’t stop him, he will try again to halt federal funding, leaving families and communities to suffer.

I refuse to let that happen. That’s why I’m fighting alongside my fellow Democrats to stop Trump’s illegal actions and uphold the Constitution. But it will take all of us standing together to hold him accountable and protect the American people from his dangerous agenda.
