Eliot Engel is in deep trouble. Yesterday, The Intercept published an article saying that Engel is facing his most competitive primary challenge since 2000 right now.

This is great news for us. If we keep up the fight for the next 27 days, there's a real chance we can drastically change the future of New York's 16th District and of Congress.

We're fast approaching the end of our final full month of campaigning before the primary and we're working towards meeting our most ambitious fundraising goal yet: raising an additional $30,000 before the end of the month. We didn't meet our 24-hour fundraising goal from our one-month-out point, so it's important that we meet this final end-of-month goal. Will you join us?

Our campaign has been gaining momentum. With more than 40 endorsements from progressive organizations and individuals under our belt, people are starting to take notice of Jamaal and our movement.

But Engel's campaign is better-funded; with $1.6 million in contributions from lobbyists, corporate PACs, and Wall Street, he has no shortage of funds to fight back and secure his seat for yet another term. We can't let this happen again.
