Anduril announcement
Governor DeWine and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik announced [ [link removed] ] the approval of a state tax incentive to support the largest single job creation and new payroll project in Ohio’s history.
During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority [ [link removed] ] approved a 2.594 percent, 30-year Job Creation Tax Credit to support Anduril Industries’ [ [link removed] ] advanced manufacturing facility in Pickaway County. The tax credit has an estimated value of $452,263,789.
“These investments are propelling Ohio into a future defined by innovation, cutting-edge technology, and unmatched opportunity,” said Governor DeWine. "Anduril is not only revolutionizing America's defense industry, but it's joining the wave of coastal companies expanding to Ohio and bringing thousands of jobs and millions of dollars in capital investment to the Heart of it All."

Governor DeWine and Ohio Department of Development Director Mihalik announced [ [link removed] ] state support for nine mixed-use development projects expected to create more than $1.1 billion in new payroll and $2 billion in investments in Ohio.
During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) approved a total of $100 million in tax credits through the fourth round of the Transformational Mixed-Used Development Program. Projects will support the construction or redevelopment of more than 7.4 million square feet of transformational space to create housing, retail, dining, office, lodging, and entertainment opportunities across the state.
“As our state grows, it’s more important than ever that we are creating communities where current and future Ohioans can live up to their fullest potential,” said Governor DeWine. “By prioritizing developments that transform neighborhoods, we’re making Ohio a place where people will want to be — now and in the future.”

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced [ [link removed] ] an award of $8.7 million award to support bridge projects as part of ODOT’s Local Major Bridge Program [ [link removed] ].
This round of funding will go to modernizing and repairing four local bridges in Franklin, Fairfield, Hamilton, and Lake counties.
"Investing in our local bridges builds safer connections and supports our economy by keeping our transportation system moving,” said Governor DeWine. “Every dollar spent on bridge infrastructure is a direct investment in the security and prosperity of our communities.”

Governor DeWine announced [ [link removed] ] that 35 workforce partnerships located across Ohio will receive a total of $5.1 million in awards through the Industry Sector Partnership (ISP) Grant. The program supports local or industry collaborations that help bring Ohioans into the workforce while meeting the needs of job creators and the economy.
The 35 awarded partnerships will focus on multiple in-demand industry sectors, including manufacturing, IT, transportation, and healthcare.
“The best way to ensure a community thrives is by investing in its people,” said Governor DeWine. “Over the past five years, we have made significant investments in these workforce partnerships to tackle challenges in both education and workforce development. We are investing in collaboration so more opportunities can be created for Ohioans.”

Governor DeWine spoke at the Dayton Chamber of Commerce's Childcare Summit to talk about Ohio’s work to increase childcare support for more families and to discuss the economic benefits of businesses investing in childcare for their workforce.

The Ohio Department of Development announced [ [link removed] ] state support of more than $33 million in tax credits through two tax credit programs aimed at developing a strong film industry in Ohio.
Through the Ohio Motion Picture Tax Credit Program (OMPTC) [ [link removed] ], 14 projects are being awarded more than $26 million in tax credits. The recently launched Ohio Film & Theater Capital Improvements Tax Credit Program (OFATCI) [ [link removed] ] will award four projects more than $7.3 million in tax credits to support capital improvements projects used in the production and postproduction motion picture or Broadway theatrical industries.
“These awards help ensure that Ohio is represented in stories that capture the hearts and imaginations of audiences around the world,” said Governor DeWine. “We’re not just supporting productions—we’re building an industry that will keep jobs in our state for years to come.”
