Urgent CFT town hall on Feb. 5 – Update on critical national and state issues
CFT will host a town hall for all CFT members on Wednesday, February 5 from 5:00–6:30 p.m. when we will discuss how we, as a union, can organize to fight back against the shocking and chaotic actions of the second Trump administration. We will also discuss next steps in the aftermath of the LA fires.
The first two weeks of the new administration have been filled with executive orders that have caused chaos and have threatened the funding and safety of our schools and our communities. And soon the administration, along with their allies in Congress, will unveil more tax cuts for the ultra-rich by slashing funding to essential services.
We can and will fight back at every level of the union – at the state, national, and local levels, and even at our work sites.
Please register now to join us on this critical CFT town hall next Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. Together we have the power to fight back and win for our schools, our students, and our communities.
