Hi, John!

Breathe in—1…2…3…4…5. Now exhale.

Right now, many of us are feeling that familiar, sinking weight — the overwhelm, the uncertainty, the deep knowing that what comes next won’t be easy. But if there’s one thing we know for sure, we’ve been here before. We’ve felt this before. And yet, we are still here. Still fighting. Still building.

Let yourself feel the frustration, the exhaustion — even the fear. But don’t let it stop you. If history has taught us anything, it’s that our power isn’t dictated by who sits in office. It’s in us. In our communities. In our organizing. In our refusal to be silenced.

So take another breath — in, 1…2…3…4…5. Now exhale. We’re so grateful for you, this community we’ve built, and the road ahead — because we’re not done yet.

Now, let’s take a look at some of the things that brought me joy throughout January:

✅ When We All Vote Co-chairs Steph Curry and Jayson Tatum [[link removed]] being named starters for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game!
✅ Mel Robbins's book “The Let Them Theory.” Game-changer!
✅ Honoring American trailblazer and civil rights icon Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. [[link removed]] on his birthday.
✅ Celebrating with my lovely Alpha Kappa Alpha sorors for Founders Day. 💕💚
✅ The new season of Traitors US!

We did it! 🙌 Thanks to voters like you, Rally the Vote powered by When We All Vote was a huge success this year. With over 25 teams, leagues, and unions from the NBA, WNBA, NFL, MLS, NWSL, MLB, and PWHL, fans from all leagues made a game plan to vote by Election Day. We are proud to share that the Philadelphia 76ers helped register the most voters!

Congratulations to the Sixers for encouraging their fans to show out at the ballot box and the Philadelphia community for rallying the vote and making their voices heard. 🏆🏀
