*Governor Kelly Joins Wichita Community to Mourn
the Lives Lost in Tragic Plane Crash*

Governor Kelly joins Wichita Mayor Lily Wu for a press conference in Wichita on Thursday

“I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives and extend my deepest condolences to the victims’ families and loved ones. I have been in constant communication with federal, state, and local officials and want to thank the over 300 first responders from across the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area for their response efforts. I have issued a flag order to acknowledge this devastating event and tragic loss of lives."

Governor Kelly has ordered flags throughout the State of Kansas to fly at half-staff through sunset on Thursday, Feb. 6, in honor of the victims.
