We knew that after the 2024 election, and all the chaos and uncertainty that followed, our fundraising would take a hit. But we didn’t plan on a drop-off this steep, and it’s a real problem. Take a look:

Listen, we really do get it: the 2024 election was demoralizing. The next election is over a year away. And every single day is filled with a head-spinning amount of news. We don’t blame people for feeling tempted to tune out.

But the fact is, if we don’t show more fight, we won’t win. If we throw up our hands and disengage for this next year, we will be at a HUGE disadvantage going into the 2026 election — when retaking the House is our very best chance to restore some guardrails in our federal government.

So, we’re humbly asking you to help us right the ship and start this year off with some momentum. Our first monthly fundraising deadline of 2025 is at midnight, and our goal is to get three (3) donations from 19125. It’s a fairly modest goal, but it would mean the world if you would help us reach it. Will you pitch in a few dollars?

We’ve seen this week what can happen when Democrats stand up and make their voice heard. Due to overwhelming public pressure after they got caught ripping off the American people, the Trump administration rescinded its outrageous freeze of federal aid money.

We need to stand together and keep up that level of engagement. No, we won’t win every fight — but we’re guaranteed to lose them all if we don’t try.

And if we put in the work and defend strong Democratic representatives like Andrea, there’s a very good chance this next election will be the one we flip the House, end Mike Johnson’s extremist hold on the House, and deliver a real check on Donald Trump’s power.
