BARTON WATCH BANDS GIVES BACK IN HONOR OF MILITARY APPRECIATION MONTH
A company headquartered in Austin, Texas whose mission is to deliver high quality watch bands at a reasonable price, with the kind of service that makes you want to high five a stranger, has partnered with Boot Campaign for Military Appreciation Month.
When we asked Barton Watch Bands why our programs were important to them, CEO Alex Keechle shared:
“Firstly, I am a 1994 graduate of the Air Force Academy and spent five years on active duty. I’ve lost classmates to war, training accidents, and suicide. All are difficult on the families, but the latter may be the “worst.” Everyone left behind always wonders if we could have “done more,” and so I appreciate your organization's focus on these hidden wounds. Secondly, I appreciate Boot Campaign’s financial stewardship and transparency. Lastly, wearing combat boots is a visual reminder that the fight is very real. I have had black KIA bracelet from Vietnam War Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Guy LaPointe, for almost 30 years. Guy graduated from my high school and passed before I was even born. However, simply wearing the bracelet and reading about his life gives me part of a greater connection.”
From May 26 to May 30 a percentage of all online sales from BartonWatchBands.comwill benefit Boot Campaign.
