Friend,

We're entering an uncertain time in Washington. Unfortunately, too many sent to serve our nation are focused on scoring political points and appearing on cable talk shows - instead of delivering for communities like ours. 

I won't let that distract us from the real work we must do, friend. Here's what I'm focusing on right now:

• Lowering healthcare and prescription drug costs
• Creating good union jobs and building an economy that works for workers
• Protecting our Great Lakes environment
• Bringing millions of dollars back home to rebuild our infrastructure and our communities
