Dear Illinois Republican Family,

The Trump Administration is restoring safety to our communities and prioritizing the well-being of Americans. As Illinois Republicans, we proudly support the Administration’s efforts to take decisive action where Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson have failed.

This is a nation of laws—laws that Pritzker and Johnson choose to ignore in pursuit of their radical agenda. President Trump is fulfilling his mandate to the American people, and we stand ready to assist him in securing our border and keeping our streets safe.

In just one week under President Trump’s America First agenda, major policy shifts have taken effect, bringing significant changes to Illinois and the nation. The President has acted swiftly to enhance security, strengthen the economy, and prioritize Americans first. Key actions in his first week:

Declaring a national emergency at the southern border to reinforce security.
Ending catch-and-release and reinstating the Remain in Mexico policy.
Realigning foreign aid to prioritize American interests.
Revitalizing America First and Peace through Strength policies.
Implementing federal measures to lower the cost of living.
Revoking the electric vehicle mandate, expanding consumer choice.
Ending DEI mandates across the government.
Rescinding 78 Biden-era executive actions to restore conservative governance.

Meanwhile, ICE raids targeting criminals and gang members have begun in Chicago. While many Democrats acknowledge the importance of removing dangerous illegal migrants, Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson continue to prioritize politics over public safety. Their sanctuary policies protect criminals rather than Illinois families.

Among those shielded by their policies:

Nine Tren de Aragua terrorists
Seven child predators
Two murderers

As former Acting ICE Director Tom Homan stated: “Everybody we arrested in Chicago yesterday was a significant public safety threat.”

While President Trump delivers results, Illinois Democrats remain entrenched in corruption and failure. Recent scandals include:

CPS and CTU Corruption: A board member conspired with the Chicago Teachers Union, and even more corruption was exposed when Johnson faced ethics concerns regarding his dual role at CPS and CTU. The situation outlines unholy alliances in Chicago’s education system under Democrat rule.
Sanctuary City Cover-Up: Mayor Johnson refuses to testify on policies enabling 50,000 illegal immigrants into Chicago.
Misinformation on ICE Deportations: Officials falsely claimed ICE targeted a school, inciting fear.

Illinois Democrats remain focused on liberal political agendas and corruption. The nation is moving forward, and Illinoisans deserve better. President Trump is steering America and Illinois in the right direction. Over the next four years, he remains committed to securing the border, revitalizing the economy, and Making America Great Again.

We also reviewed the voting records of all commissioned Republican election judges in the City of Chicago, suburban Cook County, St. Clair County, and East St. Louis. Alarmingly, many of these so-called Republican election judges have a history of voting in Democratic primaries. This is unacceptable. We must do a better job of ensuring that our Republican election judge positions are filled by committed Republicans who uphold our values.
