John, deep breaths. This has been a week. The abuse and overreach of power was on full display and it shows clearly that we need to start the work now to take back the House. And the path back to a Congressional Democratic majority runs straight through Pennsylvania.
Bad news: There are multiple seats that flipped from blue to red this cycle. Good news: these flips were not even close to landslides. They can (and will) flip back, but we need to lay the foundation now to make it happen.
I’m channeling the work of my leadership PAC to those flippable seats and we are actively:The American people were clear – they demanded action to lower costs. Congress needs to deliver legislative action that strengthens the middle class and helps families not just survive but thrive, but instead Trump and his GOP House have been focused on cutting services we rely on.
- Identifying strong Democratic women to run in these districts
- Providing the start-up funding needed to help these women hit the ground running
We can get the job done, but we need the right people in office advocating and introducing legislation for the people, not special interests. That’s why A Woman’s Place is wasting no time getting to work and securing the resources to cut down the financial barriers of entry for women candidates in PA.
