Trump just tapped his longtime fixer to lead the DEA.
Tim Shea, who led the U.S. attorney's office in D.C., oversaw the especially lenient sentence given to Trump ally Roger Stone and the dropping of charges against disgraced Trump advisor Michael Flynn. The latter move prompted President Obama to warn Americans that "the rule of law is at risk."
Apparently in Trumpworld, an attack on the rule of law doesn't mean you go to jail -- it means you get a promotion. There's no doubt Shea will politicize the DEA for Trump just like he did with the U.S. attorney's office, and there's only one way to put a stop to all this corruption for good: vote Trump out of office.
But with polls showing the president up in key swing states, that's no safe bet. Tell us what you'll do:
