The Global Peace Flag Project brings together 193 countries in a powerful display of global unity and commitment to peace. The project has already seen success with its exhibit at the United Nations in New York, and now we’re taking it to the White House grounds during Memorial Day weekend. We are calling this initiative “Dear President,” giving participants a chance to communicate their hopes for peace directly to the newly elected U.S. president.
In the lead-up to the May 24 event, we also invite you to submit canvases to be included in the exhibit, displaying your message of peace. Details for how to submit a canvas are included on the event page here.
