Hello

I recently shared information with you about our Early Warning System – which collects cases of problems in the social security system as it goes through massive change with the introduction of universal credit. We have recently produced our second report of the main problems we’re seeing. We’ve shared this with the Department for Work and Pensions, but to keep the pressure up on the Government to make changes, we need to make sure MPs are aware of all these issues.

Many MPs in areas where universal credit is rolling out at the moment will be seeing these issues, and others, in their constituent casework. It would be great to capture these cases, so we can get a bigger picture of the problems – making our case for change even stronger.

Half of all children in the UK live in families who will receive universal credit when the rollout is complete. It’s vital to get it right for these children.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,

Lizzie
