From pardoning thousands of insurrectionists, to issuing unconstitutional and illegal executive orders, to restoring the use of capital punishment at the federal level, this administration is telling us what we’ve long known to be true.
Their priorities aren’t the priorities of working class Americans. But that shouldn’t come as a surprise.
While individual states and organizations are starting to regain their footing and are now fighting back against Trump’s extreme agenda, we need something more.
We need a unified and effective Democratic response.
Right now, without a clear leader and strategy — Democrats are failing to meet the moment we’re facing with the urgency it demands.
We deserve better. And we should demand better.
But we’re not just looking to complain — we’re looking for solutions.
