*Governor Gordon’s Applauds Gov. Burgum’s Confirmation as Secretary of the Interior*

CHEYENNE, WYO – Governor Mark Gordon provided the following statement after the U.S. Senate’s overwhelming confirmation vote confirming former North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum to serve as President Trump’s Secretary of the Interior.

"“It is a great pleasure to see my good friend Governor Burgum confirmed as Secretary of the Interior. His experience will provide a much-needed western state perspective to the Department and its agencies, which will stand in stark contrast to the unlawful power grabs Wyoming has  weathered over the past four years. I look forward to collaborating with him on Wyoming’s energy resources, endangered species, resource management plans and many other of Wyoming’s highest priorities."
