We have seen the current administration move quickly to implement drastic changes to our government, it’s easy to feel a bit numb by the cascade of discouraging news.
But we know what is possible, and we know how to secure progress. It is evident in the history we have made. From electeds that stand up for us, to securing policies that protect all New Mexicans. As we prepare for the road ahead, Emerge New Mexico is engaged in political organizing that extends well beyond any single election cycle (or any single President). By recruiting and training New American Majority women to run for local and state offices, we’re building a powerful bench of leaders who will not only resist this administration — but also create a blueprint of what progressive governance looks like.
