Our Story
In a nutshell: Blue Senate was founded in 2020 to help Democrats win tough Senate races.

But we aren’t a typical PAC; we're part Candidate Fund, a fundraising entity that directly invests grassroots funds in Democratic campaigns. Every dollar we raise is split evenly between all of our endorsed Battleground Democrats, so when one candidate does well, everyone benefits.

So, why is this type of direct grassroots fundraising important?

1. It provides lesser-known candidates without large fundraising networks with the resources they need to win.
2. It puts the candidate in the driver’s seat, because they know their states better than a DC consulting shop does.
3. It means more bang for your buck: Campaigns receive better advertising rates on TV and radio. For every $1 spent by a Democratic campaign, a far-right super PAC has to spend $2 or $3 just to keep pace.

Our Record
During our very first election cycle , Blue Senate PAC raised $1.5 million in grassroots contributions. The funds we raised helped Democrats win unexpected victories against entrenched Republicans in Georgia, Arizona, and Colorado and flipped the Senate from red to blue!

Two years later , while experts were predicting a midterm “bloodbath” for Democrats, we shocked the political world by defending key Democratic Senate seats. We even flipped a seat in Pennsylvania and held our ground in Georgia (two of the toughest battleground states in the country)!

Last November, despite facing a Senate map that pundits repeatedly called “brutal” for Democrats, we elected Democratic Senators in FOUR pro-Trump swing states: Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Nevada. We also kept Maryland blue (despite massive spending by Mitch McConnell’s handpicked MAGA candidate).

Our Next Chapter
If you’re one of millions of Americans feeling demoralized and exhausted after eight years of battling Trump’s hate machine, trust us: We get it. 2024 was a terrible blow both for Democrats and democracy itself.

But we’re here to remind you that losing an election in the toughest political environment in decades doesn’t make us losers. Throwing in the towel does.

So, over these next few months, we’re shifting focus to our ONE opportunity to check on Trump’s unlimited power: the 2026 midterms.

The truth is, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain by starting now. Blue Senate is already working with Battleground Democrats to raise early funds for their campaigns.

The first fundraising deadline of the year is tomorrow at midnight. So, if you can, pitch in ASAP to give Democrats the best possible footing for a comeback. Together, we’ll close the final curtain on the Trump era and forge a new way forward. [[link removed]]
