Rush a donation of any amount to help us reach our $15,000 goal →
John, we’re only 46% of the way to our $15,000 goal and we only have 1 day left to make up the difference.
Well, why should you care? That’s a very real and valid question to ask. Every time we watch the news or open our phones it seems like there’s a new unprecedented disaster, tragedy, or struggle.
But here’s the thing. These struggles, these disasters, they’re all interconnected. That’s not an exaggeration. In many ways, the world we’re seeing is operating just as it was meant to.
This is the reality the engine of white supremacy has brought us to.
This is what happens when we exploit the earth to the point that we see new weather and climate extremes.
Fascism walks hand-in-hand with white supremacy.
Capitalism does not provide liveable wages for the everyday worker and instead the super-rich become billionaires off the backs of our labor.
But we don’t have to just accept that. We’re not going to stop fighting for a better future.
A future of Black liberation is a better future for all of us. Let us say that again — a future of Black liberation is a better future for all of us.
A world that centers justice, better living conditions where no one goes hungry, where everyone can access a good education, where we know and take care of our neighbors, where we can afford a home for our families, and we can know joy.
That’s the future we’re building right here, together.
Will you help fuel our fight today by donating anything you can before midnight on January 31?
In solidarity,
Black Lives Matter
Our grassroots movement is pushing for Black liberation every single day. We are striving to create a world where Black people do so much more than just survive. It’s time we thrive.
As an organization one of our biggest hurdles is consistency.
A recurring contribution of anything you can afford goes a long way as we plan for the months, years, and even decades ahead. This is the most effective way for small-dollar donors (like you) to power our Black liberation work.
Will you make a recurring contribution of $5 or more today so that we can keep building momentum for our movement?
