John,

Last week was filled with encouraging pro-life events in Washington, D.C. Though it was cold and the agenda was full, the Live Action team and I were blessed to be a part of such a powerful few days.

Our founder and president, Lila Rose, spoke at the March for Life, an event at the Museum of the Bible, she was the keynote speaker at the Cardinal O’Connor Conference for Life, and she engaged in a powerful debate at Georgetown University.

Here are some photos at the March for Life:

Lila Rose was one of the featured speakers, alongside well-known surfer and speaker Bethany Hamilton, Vice President J.D. Vance, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and others.

The Live Action team marched with dozens of supporters, friends, and volunteers. Live Action signs were carried proudly by thousands of marchers.

On Thursday evening, last week, the night before the March, Lila had the opportunity to debate a prestigious George Washington University professor of law, Dr. Mary Anne Franks. Dr. Franks is a legal scholar, author, activist, and media commentator, and was arguing for abortion.

I attended the debate, and it was fascinating to be in the room. Lila and Dr. Franks exchanged respectfully, but their disagreements were evident.

Usually, events around the March for Life are exclusively tailored to pro-life attendees. Sitting in the debate room at Georgetown, the crowd of students was primarily pro-abortion. This was evident early in the debate by the whisperings and shaking of heads that I saw as students were listening to Lila.

It was fascinating to see the audience absorb and wrestle with many excellent points Lila made throughout the debate.

As Lila mentioned in her March for Life speech the next day, we know of at least one student whose mind was changed from pro-abortion to pro-life after listening to Lila at the debate!

I’m proud of Live Action for not only equipping pro-life people with the truth but also for entering the fray by engaging in debates like these. I hope Lila’s boldness encourages you in your own efforts of pro-life activism and apologetics.

Georgetown University has not yet released the footage from this debate, but it should be available soon. Keep an eye out!

Also, ahead of the March for Life, Lila spoke at the Museum of the Bible to over 600 Ivy League student members of the David Network. She shared key next steps for the movement and provided essential tools to empower them as effective advocates for life on their campuses.

“Our courage is contagious. We have to be those people who will speak the truth.” – Lila Rose

Then on Saturday, January 25th, after the March, Lila gave an inspiring speech to hundreds of pro-life students and attendees at the 26th Annual Cardinal O’Connor Conference on Life back on the Georgetown University campus.

John, thank you for watching these speeches and sharing them with your friends and family. I hope they encourage you.

Let’s continue pressing on until every preborn baby is protected!
