In just four days, our campaign is coming up on our most important fundraising deadline yet. I hope you’ll take a moment to let me explain why this matters, especially now.

Every month, we have financial goals to hit in order to ensure our campaign for a better, brighter Mississippi has what it needs to succeed. In these unprecedented times, hitting those goals has become even more difficult as I’ve had to put all of my travel and in-person events on hold.

As a people-powered, grassroots campaign, we rely on small-dollar donations from folks in Washington and across the country like you to cover everything from our staff, to online advertising, to the very email you’re reading right now.

On the flip side, our opponent Cindy Hyde-Smith has the entire backing of Mitch McConnell and his network of corporate PACs to foot the bill in order to keep their grip on power.

I know we’re the underdogs in this race , but I also know that if we work together and each chip in what we can, we can defeat the odds by winning this seat, flipping the Senate, and moving Mississippi forward.
