Friend --
We just finished our biggest Day of
Action EVER. We had nearly 1 thousand folks ready to take action, and
we BROKE Google Meets and stalled out the Senate
switchboard.
Momentum and energy are on the side
of Democracy, and it's with each of us at Country First.
Authoritarians want to intimidate people into silence.
That’s how they win. Today, you showed you will not be intimidated
into silence.
Immediately following today’s Day
of Action, Country First released the following video to a national
audience pointing out that RFK Jr. is not qualified to serve as
Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Our Days of Action exist
for one simple reason: to equip and empower. To show you that
action isn’t as scary or difficult as you might think. It’s a place to
find the community and energy to stand for truth within your community.
So, if you're ready to do that, if
you’re ready to be bold for democracy, here is how:
1. Call Congress and demand they
reject RFK and Kash Patel.
-
Use
this number:(202) 224-3121
- Request
to speak with the following offices: Sens. Lisa Murkowski, Susan
Collins, Bill Cassidy, and Mitch McConnell
- Follow
the script: “Hi, I’m calling because I’m worried about some of the
nominees like RFK and Kash Patel. America faces serious threats and
now is a time for proven leaders who are willing to put country over
party to do what’s right, not what’s politically convenient. We need
leadership that will respect the Constitution, not bow down to
personalities. RFK and Kash Patel have clearly shown from their pasts
they are wholly unqualified to lead. I hope that your office will
reject unqualified candidates and focus your time on confirming real
leaders.”
2. Register
for our next Day of Action, on Thursday, February 6th, at 1:00pm
ET.
We can do this, we can make a
difference, because we have each other. Let’s keep putting one foot in
front of the other, putting Country First in all we do.
Onward,
Team Country First https://www.country1st.com/
PS: We are at a pivotal moment in our nation’s
history—a moment that will define which path our country takes. Will
we stand firm in support of democracy, or let it slip away into
history?
Please share this link for our Day
of Action with anyone you know who is ready to be part of a
movement focused on making a real difference Join us now—there is
strength in numbers!
