Dear John,
Last Friday, President Trump declared in-person church services and religious gatherings as being “essential.”
For many, the hope was that his words and promised action would help put a stop to local governments’ over-reach and abuse of power in key hotspots, like Illinois, New Jersey and California—and immediately end this constitutional crisis.
Just how bad is this crisis? And what are the long-term implications for religious liberty if we continue under the guise of this “new normal?”
To help unmask these “hidden” truths, I encourage you to tune-in to First Liberty Live! this Thursday at Noon, as you’ll get the inside story from my good friend, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz.
I promise you, you won’t want to miss Ted’s “tell it like it is” answers to the troubling realities we’re facing as a result of this crisis. To watch, register here, or go to our Facebook page on Thursday.
In the meantime, please watch this week’s update to hear about two additional key First Liberty legal victories, plus more disturbing instances against churches involving police raids and arson:
As a supporter of First Liberty, you’ve heard me say for decades that if our churches and houses of worship can’t win on the legal front...all the rest of our freedoms are in jeopardy.
Over these past 8 weeks during COVID, we’re seeing this truth playing out across the country.
One thing I do know, however, is that nothing can stop us from continuing to win and lead the fight if we go all in, together!
Gratefully, Kelly
