This session in Congress appears to be one of the busiest and most important in recent history, with critical decisions already on the line that will significantly impact Illinois.

Before I continue–we're days away from this year's first End of Month Fundraising Deadline, and what we raise by then will help us determine the momentum for the rest of the year. Because of this, we can't afford to come up short. Can you help us reach our goal of $8,211 before the deadline by chipping in?

Since I got back to work in Washington, I've been hard at work for our communities, and I am excited to serve once again on the Judiciary Committee and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.

Being in these roles will be crucial to address key issues like immigration integrity and security, as well as issues with national infrastructure.

Additionally, I am excited to continue my work in these committees especially to witness the harmful impacts of Trump's executive orders on our communities. These challenges help us see the urgent need to counteract these decisions and prioritize the real needs of Illinoisans.

As I represent Illinois' 4th Congressional District, I will continue to be a fighter for the working class and for everyone who makes up our communities, not extremists nor special interests.
