In today’s episode, ‘Building Community Empowerment through Open-Minded Partnerships, with MCN and NACHC’, Sarah Price, Director of Public Health Integration at The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), discusses the history of NACHC’s partnership with MCN with episode hosts Deliana Garcia and Alma Galván. Reviewing the decades-old development of MCN’s processes for equitable health messaging and community-led health projects, the discussion reviews the best practices and innovative methodologies used previously and during the COVID pandemic, that can be applied to issues we face today. The discussion includes how NACHC creates opportunities for their partners to support communities through community engagement, the identification of needs, and community health advocacy.

As Director of Public Health Integration at The National Association of Community Health Centers. Sarah Price provides technical assistance for the integration of public health initiatives, including adult immunizations, pediatric weight management, and other emerging topics. Sarah works with Primary Care Associations and Health Center Controlled Networks on quality improvement and assists health centers to measure and improve their performance. Sarah serves as an Adjunct Faculty for Public Health Nursing at Georgetown School of Nursing where she guides nursing students through their public health nursing rotations. With 22 years of experience in community and public health, Sarah is specialized in the strategies related to interdisciplinary care services and innovative primary care workflows. Sarah earned a Master of Science in Nursing‐Education from George Mason University.
