The start to 2025 has been hard, John.

From the LA wildfires to Donald Trump resuming his role as president of
the United States, the future of the planet feels more uncertain than
ever.

But amidst so much bad news, there are glimmers of hope. Here at 350, we
just introduced our new Executive Director: Anne Jellema.

And she wants to hear YOUR priorities for 2025:

[ [link removed] ]If you have a few more minutes, please take the two-minute survey to
share your priorities for our climate movement with our new Executive
Director.

Thanks so much for taking a moment to sound off on your priorities for
2025.

It's so lovely to meet you, John!

I'm writing this email from my home office in Cape Town, South Africa,
where I am thrilled to be taking on the new role as Executive Director of
350.

First, I want to say thank you for all you've done and continue to do for
our climate movement. As a supporter of
350, you are helping to tackle the climate crisis head
on. Thank you, John.

Before I share any more about my own background within the climate
movement and my hopes for 350, I want to get to know you a bit more,
John, and understand your priorities for 2025 and beyond:

[ [link removed] ]Can you take a quick, two-minute survey to share your climate
priorities for 2025? Your response will help shape the future of this
organization.

I first got involved in climate action out of love for my three children.
I want them, and generations after them, to inherit a safe and thriving
planet. I want them to be able to enjoy and cherish the same special
places in nature that mean so much to me. I want them to live free from
constant fear of fires, floods, heatwaves, and hurricanes.

But we are running out of time. Whether here in Africa or in the US and
Europe, many communities are already being decimated by climate impacts.
That’s why I joined 350 — because it is laser-focused on urgent practical
solutions to the climate crisis.

I am truly honored to embark on this new journey with 350 alongside
you, John — and thousands of supporters around the globe.

That's why before any more time goes by, I want to hear directly from YOU
about your priorities for the climate movement:

[ [link removed] ]So please, take this two-minute survey, and let's shape the next
chapter of 350 together.

In solidarity,

Anne Jellema
