John,

This week, the Trump administration announced a freeze on all federal grants and loans – a decision that would have upended education, health care, housing, poverty programs, disaster relief, and countless other programs that millions rely on.

But less than 24 hours later, Trump backed down . That’s right – our collective power forced him to retreat.

This is our first major win of 2025. Even without a House majority, we’ve proven that when we fight back, we win. But we must stay focused and we must continue fighting, John. Can Marilyn count on you to contribute today to continue to push back against Trump’s dangerous, extremist agenda? [[link removed]]

This is just the beginning. With a Republican-controlled Congress beholden to extremists, and a Cabinet full of billionaires eager to enact his Project 2025 agenda, it is clear that Trump is prepared to take extreme actions to fully realize his dangerous vision.

We have the power to stop him, John – but it will take every single one of us.

Our first end-of-month fundraising deadline of the year is TOMORROW, and we need to hit our $28K goal to stay in this fight – but we’re just over halfway there. Falling short is a setback we can't afford. Can Marilyn count on you to chip in $10 today?
