Hey John,

While the Economist is publishing gross articles like this…

"Why You Should Never Retire | Pleasure cruises, golf and tracing the family tree are not that fulfilling"

…Whole Foods workers in Philadelphia just won the first Whole Foods union under Amazon!

If this doesn’t seem like a big deal, let us break it down for you:

Since Amazon bought Whole Foods, workers have lost out on benefits and wage increases. While Amazon has been fighting to keep its warehouse employees under its thumb, Whole Foods workers are standing strong and organizing under the United Food and Commercial Workers union.

The fight for workers’ rights isn’t slowing down, John. In fact, it’s only ramping up!

The PRO Act is our best bet at defending workers’ rights. If it gets passed, the PRO Act would restore the right to join a union and help workers negotiate safer workplace conditions, higher wages, and better benefits.

Send a message directly to Congress demanding that they pass the PRO Act and defend workers’ rights: [link removed]

We can’t afford to leave ANY labor protections on the table.

Donald Trump just fired pro-union NLRB General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo AND NLRB Board Member Gwynne Wilcox. That only makes it harder for workers to fight back and win when bosses break the law.

That’s why we have to use this critical moment to put pressure directly on Congress to use their authority to protect workers.

It only takes a second to send a message to Congress. Add your name TODAY and join the fight to protect workers and unions: [link removed]
