Our country is facing a growing threat from Christian nationalist policies that undermine the principles of secular governance. The separation of church and state is a cornerstone of American democracy, and it has never been more at risk.

In recent weeks, many Americans have felt a deep sense of fear and uncertainty. Trump's executive orders and cabinet picks have left many concerned about their livelihoods, families, and safety. It's natural to feel angry and sad, but now is the time to channel those powerful emotions into action. True religious freedom is only possible when the separation of church and state is protected. Will you join us in defending these principles?

At our Secular Lobby Day ([link removed]) on March 10th-11th, we'll advocate for critical issues that impact the secular community. Lobbyists will meet on Capitol Hill to talk with lawmakers to discuss key policies. Past efforts have focused on:

* Ensuring Ethics in the Supreme Court: Advocating for a bill requiring Supreme Court Justices to adhere to a code of ethics, including recusal in cases where there are clear conflicts of interest.

* Addressing Militia-Related Violence: Supporting legislation to combat unlawful militia activity, such as voter intimidation and interference with government proceedings.

* Expanding the Congressional Freethought Caucus: Encouraging representatives to join the Congressional Freethought Caucus, which promotes science, reason, and the protection of our secular government.
