The Laken Riley Act is Law!

Yesterday I was at the White House with President Trump as he signed the
Laken Riley Act that will require ICE to detain undocumented immigrants who are
arrested or face charges or who have been convicted of “burglary, theft,
larceny, or shoplifting.”

I am extremely grateful for President Trump’s leadership in finally bringing
commonsense leadership to an issue that has endangered the lives of millions of
Americans.

President Trump acknowledged Georgia’s leadership in ending the Left’s
disastrous immigration policies that cost Laken Riley and the lives of
countless Americans their lives.

The murder of Laken Riley by an undocumented migrant was a tragedy that shook
Georgia and our communities to our core. With President Trump’s decisive
leadership we took one major step forward to fixing our catastrophically broken
immigration system.
