As I look around, I see people expressing care and allyship for people whose identities and backgrounds differ from their own. I see people searching for communities of advocacy where they can foster change. I see people determined to create safe spaces of inclusion and peace.
In short, we are realizing that, regardless of who leads our country, we must work together. If we stay united in our support of each other, we can maintain the progress we have worked so hard for, and even continue to make strides forward. To strengthen the bonds inside our community of gun violence prevention advocates, we’d like to learn more about who you are and what brings you into this space.
Our short survey will allow you to share information about where your passions lie and about the communities you are already a part of. You can also indicate if you’d like to get more involved through volunteer work. Please tell us about yourself -- it will take less than a minute.
We must stay engaged, stay hopeful, and stay determined over the coming months. We are ready to walk beside you. We know it will make a difference.
We can do this.
With determination,
Tyler Kelly
