President Trump halted federal funding for public loans and aid, throwing programs like Head Start and Medicaid into chaos as states and non-profits were locked out of their payment systems.

It’s unacceptable. 

Congress allocates funding, not the president. Trump has no power to suspend these funds, and holding them hostage is unconstitutional.

This is worse than Project 2025. 

Suspending this funding will devastate middle- and working-class families, including:

• 72 million Medicaid recipients; 
• 20 million children receiving free or reduced-price school meals; 
• 10 million people using rental assistance; and
• 800,00 students in Head Start programs.

We need to keep fighting back against Trump’s radical agenda.
