John, our average online contribution this month is $16.30.
That makes us proud because the Working Families Party is a grassroots-funded, multiracial party of working people coming together across our differences to build a political home for those who look at the bigotry, bailouts, and business as usual in our political system and say, "is that the best we can do?"
Medicare for All, ending mass incarceration, making the wealthy and corporations pay their fair share, protecting workers, combating climate change and environmental racism — these aren't pipe dreams, they're possible. But only if we elect more people who are ready to fight for them at every level of government.
Can you chip in $16.30 — our average contribution in May — or whatever you can afford toward our end-of-month goal of $68,000 to help us elect an entire slate of candidates up and down the ballot in 2020 who are ready to meet this unprecedented moment?

For decades, the two-party system has worked furiously to keep the ruling class in power and lock out working people. But at the Working Families Party, we're chipping away at those barriers to entry, one election at a time.
By working to recruit, train, and develop candidates for office who will stand with working people, and running candidates where they have the best chance of winning and building power — whether it's as an outright third-party candidate or taking on an entrenched incumbent in a Democratic primary — we're winning elections and making waves, even when we fall short.
But taking on the so-called power brokers means we can't rely on traditional, high-dollar fundraising — and why would we? We have you, and we're stronger when all of us come together to chip in $1, $3, or $20 at a time.
If you can afford to at this time, I hope you'll make a contribution of $16.30 toward our end-of-month goal of $68,000. Even if you only have room for $1 or $3 in your budget, knowing we have your support means so much to us.
Thank you, John. This is your movement, and we're so grateful to have you fighting alongside us.
In solidarity,
Braeden Lentz
