Taylor is a professor of African American Studies at Princeton University and an award-winning author and scholar. Her books, Race for Profit ([link removed] ) and From #BlackLivesMatter to Black Liberation ([link removed] ) , have earned critical acclaim, including finalist honors for the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize.

A 2021 MacArthur "Genius" Fellow, Taylor is celebrated for her groundbreaking work on racial inequality, Black social movements and radical activism. She’s also a contributing writer for The New Yorker and a 2021 Guggenheim Fellow.

Taylor’s powerful insights continue to shape critical conversations on race, politics and civil rights.
