Help keep Israel safe
Dear Sir or Madam,
Since Hamas’ horrific October 7 massacre, Iran and its proxies have attacked Israel from seven fronts: Gaza, Lebanon, the West Bank, Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Iran itself.
- Gaza — The October 7 attacks demonstrated the immense threat Iranian-backed Hamas poses to the safety and security of the Jewish state. Israel has since been working to remove Hamas from power, dismantle its terror infrastructure and secure the return of the hostages.
- Lebanon — Immediately after October 7, the Iranian-backed terror group Hezbollah launched near-daily rocket, drone and missile attacks towards Israel, forcing 80,000+ Israelis to evacuate their homes in northern Israel.
- The West Bank — Iran is providing training, funding and weapons to Palestinian terrorist groups in the West Bank, attempting to turn it into another Gaza — another front from which it can attack Israel. Incidents of terrorism have increased dramatically, forcing Israel to take action to defend itself.
- Yemen — Starting within weeks of the October 7 attack, the Houthis, armed with Iranian weapons, training and intelligence, have carried out hundreds of attacks on Israel, U.S. Navy vessels, and international shipping.
- Syria — The collapse of the Assad regime in Syria severed Iran’s land bridge to the Mediterranean, which the regime used to smuggle weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israeli forces have moved into the Syrian border region to defend Israel’s border against terrorist threats.
- Iraq — Iraqi Shia militias, backed by Iran, have used missiles, rockets and drones to launch attacks on Israel and U.S. forces in the region.
- Iran — The Iranian regime launched two direct attacks on Israel in April and October 2024, firing hundreds of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones. Iran continues to advance its dangerous nuclear program and can now produce enough weapons-grade uranium for a nuclear weapon in a week and enough for multiple bombs in one month.
Each of these seven fronts pose a serious threat to the Jewish state and highlight why U.S. security aid for Israel remains so critical.
We must continue to work with Congress to ensure Israel has the offensive and defensive resources and diplomatic support necessary to respond to Iran’s regional aggression.
