We are built for this moment. Dream.Org has a track record of mobilizing
unlikely allies to stick up for our communities and our priorities, like
green investments we fought hard for. We also know how to build lasting
common ground: passing bipartisan criminal justice reform under the last
Trump administration. By standing up to what we believe in and bringing
people together at the same time, we resist the ugliest impulses in our
fractured politics and make sure that the most vulnerable among us don’t
have to wait four years for any progress.
In solidarity,
— Nisha Anand

The end of the Biden presidency saw key criminal justice wins that will
improve the lives of thousands of impacted Americans. On December 12th,
Biden granted clemency to nearly 1,500 individuals on home confinement.
Ten days later, he commuted the sentences of 37 federal death row inmates,
sparing them from likely execution under a future Trump administration. On
January 17th, Biden made history by commuting nearly 2,500 sentences for
nonviolent crack cocaine offenses. Dream.Org tirelessly pushed for these
changes, and we’re thankful Biden listened. And we thank you for your
support as we continue fighting for lasting change.

The new leadership is wasting no time putting climate progress at risk.
Already we’ve heard plans to obliterate the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA),
our country’s biggest-ever clean energy investment and our only shot at
addressing the climate crisis head on. But we’re ready to fight back.
Dream.Org is preparing a team to protect the IRA and of our promised clean
energy jobs. Will you join us and help keep this momentum alive?
