On April 1, Wisconsinites will vote to fill a vacant seat on the state Supreme Court. The winner will be the swing vote in all Court decisions.
WisDems endorse Judge Susan Crawford, a former prosecutor, attorney, and current Circuit Court judge, who’s dedicated her life to protecting the core rights and freedoms guaranteed to Wisconsinites under our constitution.
The GOP backs extreme politician Brad Schimel, who as AG under Scott Walker, tried to overturn the Affordable Care Act, and left thousands of rape kits untested, denying justice to victims. He also supports the 1849 Abortion Ban.
In fact, Schimel has already bragged to his supporters that if he’s elected to the Court, he will vote to restrict reproductive freedoms.
Judge Crawford believes women should have the right to make their own decisions about their health care—and it’s not up to any legislature or court to come between a woman and her doctor.
Electing Judge Crawford on April 1 will send a message to Trump: we are still in this fight. We are, once again, the ones we’ve been waiting for.
