Snowy track cakes recipe info

Ingredients

* 1 cake, cookie or brownie recipe of your choosing
* 1 package of powdered sugar

Cooking materials

* Mixing bowls
* Cooking pan
* Sifter

Step 1

Step 1) Assemble the ingredients to make your cookie, cake, or brownie base. We used a secret family chocolate sugar cookie recipe, but anything will do.

Step 2

Step 2) Make sure to have an adult help with the mixing and putting things in and out of the oven!

Step 3

Step 3) Carefully pull your sweet treat out of the oven and allow it to fully cool.

Step 4

Step 4) While your creation is cooling, print and cut out the animal tracks provided. You can also look up your own to add fun new critters.

Step 5

Step 5) Carefully, place your tracks in a fun pattern. We had our animals walk side by side.

Step 6

Step 6) Using the sifter, spread powdered sugar all over the surface of the treat.

Step 7

Step 7) Gently remove the paper tracks from the surface. We found using a fork can help a lot.

Step 8

Step 8) Cut up and enjoy your snowy track scene!
