Recreate a snowy scene!
Winter is an excellent time of year to view animal tracks. But you don't have to wait for snow to fall, you can create a snowy track scene at home that tastes delicious! Follow along with our recipe to make some snowy track cakes and tell your own story!

Snowy track cakes recipe info
Ingredients
* 1 cake, cookie or brownie recipe of your choosing
* 1 package of powdered sugar
Cooking materials
* Mixing bowls
* Cooking pan
* Sifter
Step 1
Step 1) Assemble the ingredients to make your cookie, cake, or brownie base. We used a secret family chocolate sugar cookie recipe, but anything will do.
Step 2
Step 2) Make sure to have an adult help with the mixing and putting things in and out of the oven!
Step 3
Step 3) Carefully pull your sweet treat out of the oven and allow it to fully cool.
Step 4
Step 4) While your creation is cooling, print and cut out the animal tracks provided. You can also look up your own to add fun new critters.
Step 5
Step 5) Carefully, place your tracks in a fun pattern. We had our animals walk side by side.
Step 6
Step 6) Using the sifter, spread powdered sugar all over the surface of the treat.
Step 7
Step 7) Gently remove the paper tracks from the surface. We found using a fork can help a lot.
Step 8
Step 8) Cut up and enjoy your snowy track scene!
