We’re only a week in and Donald Trump has shown us who is once again – someone who will always put profits over people. He recently signed an executive order rolling back President Biden’s initiative to lower prescription drug prices and expand access to cell and gene therapies for Medicaid recipients.
This will force families to pay more for life-saving prescriptions and deny Medicaid recipients access to innovative treatments. This is a huge step backwards – and it’s an attack on working families, seniors, and all Americans who rely on affordable prescription medicines. I’ve always been committed to restoring this progress and fighting for legislation that puts patients first, but I can’t do it without you.
I’ve spent years working to improve the accessibility, affordability, and quality of health care for all Americans, and I’m not stopping now.
