Dear John,

On January 20, Donald Trump took the presidential oath of office for the second time. He wasted no time implementing the agenda he had laid out for the American people during his presidential campaign. He signed executive orders fulfilling commitments such as:

  • End funding for gender transition procedures for minors through government programs, and investigating instances in which the long-term consequences of gender transitions on minors have been covered up
  • Withdrawing the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO);
  • Revoking several Biden administration policies regarding gender ideology, helping ensure men are not allowed in women's restrooms, men are not allowed to participate in women's sports, and men are not placed in women's prisons;
  • Issuing a new executive order instructing the federal government to stop promoting gender ideology;
  • Prohibiting federal agencies from colluding with any organization, business, or person, to censor, limit, categorize, or impede the lawful speech of American citizens;
  • Banning federal funds from being used to label speech as misinformation;
  • Directing the DOJ to investigate all parties involved in online censorship and aggressively prosecute any and all crimes identified;
  • And much more.

During President Trump's first term, I saw firsthand how his staff tracked the many commitments he had made to the American people on a whiteboard situated near the Oval Office. FRC Action monitored the Trump administration's actions on issues important to our country's moral and social well-being, such as life, family, and religious freedom.

During Trump's second term, we will be tracking his commitments related to gender ideology, free speech, immigration, education, national defense, the economy, and more through our new initiative, the Trump Commitment Tracker. This tool will monitor many of the commitments made by the Trump campaign during the 2024 election, checking them off if and when they are fulfilled.

You can explore the commitments here and check back regularly for updates on how the second Trump administration is progressing in fulfilling its promises to the American people.

With a new administration and new Congress, there is so much opportunity ahead of us. Paul encouraged Timothy: "Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage -- with great patience and careful instruction" (2 Timothy 4:2). As Rev. Franklin Graham said during his inaugural prayer, "America can never be great again if we turn our backs" on God.

By God's grace, FRC Action will keep working on Capitol Hill on behalf of our core issues. We were able to make tremendous progress on many issues during the Biden administration, and with God's continued grace, we hope to be a part of historic achievements for faith, family, and freedom in 2025 and beyond.

We will continue to be on the front lines, serving as a Christian voice in Washington, D.C.

P.S. - Even with all the recent changes in our federal government, one thing has not changed: Christians must continue to pray and stay engaged in the public square (Jeremiah 29:7). A Christian voice is desperately needed in the halls of government, especially with a new administration taking shape. FRC Action exists to be that voice on your behalf. Please consider donating today to support our work in 2025.
