Friends,

It’s hard to believe that New York voters have already begun casting their ballots in our state’s primary elections. This is just the latest sign of how quickly we’re approaching November, when our campaign will face our final test of 2020: Election Day.

But first, we have to barrel through an incredibly important reporting deadline. In just one week, we’ll close the books on our pre-primary fundraising period, after which we’ll report our total fundraising to-date with the FEC and our numbers become public.

We’ve set a goal to raise $16,000 ahead of our pre-primary fundraising deadline. If you can help us get started on closing the gap, please make a donation of any size today.

This fundraising deadline is our last opportunity to show what our campaign is made of before we wade into the general election. We need to prove that this movement is built by grassroots supporters -- chipping in $5, $25, or $50 dollars at a time -- who believe in our future enough to fight for it.

Because frankly, if we don’t, our district could easily fall back into the hands of DC special interests. Dark money groups have already flooded our district with $2 million and counting in attack ads -- and they’ve got millions more in the bank to spend against me.

I’m not accepting any contributions from corporate PACs, and I’m proud that our pre-primary fundraising report will be proof of that. But it also needs to show that we have the resources go toe-to-toe with DC insiders.

In order to do that, we set an ambitious fundraising goal of $16,000. Please, will you chip in any amount to help us reach our target before our pre-primary reporting deadline in just one week?
