Yesterday, I dropped Episode 5 of When Declaring a Firearm Goes Perfectly—a YouTube Shorts series where I document the process of checking in a firearm at the airport. People have really been enjoying these because they show just how smooth the process usually is and what to expect. Sure, there will probably be a time when things don’t go as planned, but 99% of the time, it’s just like this—easy and uneventful.
In this episode, the agent asked if my “clips” were empty, which got a few laughs in the comments. Honestly, I couldn’t care less if he said clip instead of magazine—the process went smoothly, and I wasn’t about to correct him and risk complicating things. At this point, I don’t even bother correcting people on that anymore—I’m not the grammar police!
