As we enter the new year, one thing is for certain: your union isn’t backing down.
Our locals are signing up new members month after month, a testament to the power of collective organizing. Many of you are preparing to gather in D.C. next month to meet with your lawmakers and encourage them to support our legislative goals. And we are prepared to respond to any illegal directives or orders coming out of the incoming administration that target our members or the work you do.

AFGE, it’s time to make the switch! We’ve used the latest technology to create a dues collection system totally independent of the agencies whose workers we represent. Now, government employees can easily sign up to become a member of AFGE online using the AFGE E-Dues system.

We ended 2024 with significant organizing success. Going into 2025, we’re not planning on resting on our laurels and are continuing our drive to 325,000 members.
