Did you watch any of Robert Kennedy Jr’s confirmation hearing today?

Let’s be very clear - Robert Kennedy Jr. is a real and present danger to our families, including mine. Attacks on my family’s healthcare are literally why I ran for office. As you know, my brother David would have lost his health insurance if the Affordable Care Act was repealed. This issue is incredibly personal for me.

So when I see someone like RFK Jr. potentially about to run the Department of Health & Human Services it makes my blood boil. This is a real job that directly affects the health of our loved ones. This isn’t a job to hand out as a political favor, especially not to a conspiracy theorist who gets rich pushing vaccine lies.

Today RFK Jr. refused to say that healthcare is a human right. He attacked the Affordable Care Act, said he wants to upend Medicaid, and declared he no longer trusts women to make their own reproductive choices.

I fear that with RFK Jr. in charge, American healthcare will continue to plummet to new depths. Will you add your name to my petition and tell the Senate to reject his nomination for Health Secretary?

We deserve better and I’m truly scared for our families if he’s confirmed. Please sign our petition, we need a swell of support on this one.
