Nevada first achieved statehood during the height of the Civil War. Ever since, we’ve been known as the “Battle Born State.”

It’s a fitting title. Nevadans defy the odds. We adapt and we innovate. That’s how we built a world-class city in the middle of the desert. At the height of summer, just going outside to walk the dog is a test of our mettle.

I’ve lived in Nevada for over thirty years, and in that time I’ve fought my share of battles, too.

I represent a battleground district in Congress; one of the most consistently competitive districts in the country. In November, I defeated my Radical MAGA opponent by a razor-thin 2.8% margin.

Now, it’s time for Democrats here in the Battle Born State to gear up for our next battle: Hitting our End-of-Month fundraising goal on Friday.
