With a stroke of a pen, Trump's blatant endorsements of extremism and authoritarianism are continuing to undermine the very fundamentals of our government. He has fired 17 independent inspectors general at government agencies and has started to purge the Justice Department of anyone who dared to try to hold him accountable.

Trump is dangerous to our country. He is lawless and is setting up a government with no oversight and only those who have proven their loyalty to him.

We cannot afford to wait on the sidelines – the time is now to start rebuilding our congressional majorities for 2026.

Trump has been embracing corruption and hatred since day one of his second term. Since becoming President, he has signed an executive order barring transgender people from serving in the military, reversed LBJ’s 1965 executive order used to fight workplace discrimination, and dismantled DEI initiatives throughout the federal government. That’s in addition to his attacks on the 14th Amendment and immigrant communities.

Everyday we are seeing more harmful and consequential decisions being made against our communities.

Trump’s policies and reversals are taking away Americans’ rights and benefitting the ultra-rich. With our fundamental rights on the line, now is the time to stand up and help us prepare for the fight ahead.
