I remain deeply concerned about the Trump administration’s unconstitutional attempts to rip off our communities–freezing trillions in federal grants, loans, and other assistance that so many of us rely on. This unprecedented and illegal move by the Trump administration has created chaos, confusion and fear. Make no mistake, I will do everything in my power to stop Republican attempts to take vital services away from our communities.
We spoke out, and Trump walked back his illegal attack on seniors, veterans, children & working people — for now.
I will continue to keep you informed as this situation evolves, including our path forward to fight this and all other unlawful actions. In the meantime, we are here for you and fighting for you in the face of Trump’s attempts to violate Congress’ power of the purse. It has come to my attention that multiple individuals and programs have reported issues from the chaos of this week. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have been impacted by the Trump administration’s actions. To get in touch with me, you can contact my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 225-3801. You may also contact my District office at (404) 659-0116.
If you were or anticipate being impacted by this order, I want to hear from you. Please use this form to share information with my office regarding the ways you were or anticipate being impacted.
