Today, we get to take a small victory lap. Thanks to the pressure from nonprofits, activists, and elected officials at every level, the Trump White House has been forced to back down and rescind their plan to freeze all federal aid.

This is how we fight back. We call out their harmful policies, push back, and make them answer to the people. But we can't stop here. This is only one battle in a much longer war.

We know they won’t stop. They’re already trying again to halt payments to the essential government programs that millions of families rely on. We have to be ready to stop them again—and we need your help to do it.
