Folks, less than 10 days into the job, Donald Trump is sending the entire country into a tailspin.

Late Monday night, Trump ordered a freeze on all federal grants and loans. That left millions of Americans wondering if they would receive health care through Medicaid, if their children would get school lunches, if police and fire departments should stop hiring, or if farmers would get desperately needed aid.

I promise you, that I am doing all that I can to fight back and get the funding Wisconsin needs and deserves.

I’ve heard from countless constituents worried about the impacts of Trump’s callous actions. And after a series of contradictory communications from the Trump Administration this morning, the American people are left even more confused about how they will be impacted.

While the Trump Administration sows chaos, confusion, and panic, I’m working with my colleagues to fight back and restore the funding that these vital programs and agencies need.
